Behind The Scenes of The Fifty Five Collection // Campbell Crafts

At the end of January 2018 we were shooting the brand new Fifty Five Collection with the amazingly talented Amanda Hendrick. Model, make up artist and business owner of her own line of clothing coming soon. Having worked with Amanda in the past, when Lins was a fashion stylist, she knew that Amanda was the perfect fit for this campaign.

Located in a small studio on the outskirts of London with an array of beautiful garments ready to shoot. I spent the morning steaming all the new pieces ready for Amanda to try on and make it as easy as possible for a smooth day of shooting. Seeing the collection in person for the first time filled me with so much excitement after only viewing a few sneak peeks previously! Pastel, floral print & gingham galore that were all inspired by the surroundings of Palm Springs, California!

Taking visual inspiration from the beautiful retro homes, the colours and the wide range of flowers in peoples front lawns. It throws you back into the mist of the fifties wearing a flowing full swing dress with an added straw sun hat whilst walking around the streets of downtown Palm Springs.

Working closely with the manufacturers (based in the UK) with her designs, Lindsay (owner of Campbell Crafts) was able to create what she imagined and The Fifty Five Collection came to life!

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Much love
